There's an upcoming solo cd from Antioch representative dropping January 2009. Rapper Magic will release his new project entitled "Gladiator". According to CityHallRecords there's a new solo album from AP.9 dropping February 2009. Believing Siccness.net sources and RapBay store the upcoming cd from Oakland Mob Figa should be available this December. The album will be named "I Am Legend" and will feature The Jacka, Lee Majors, Shill Mac and Yukmouth. It will include 16 new songs and will drop under Mob Shop Entertainment. We know that AP.9 will collaborate again with Indecent The Slapmaster (production, mastering and mixing), yet we'll also hear beats from other producers. We'll surely keep you posted on this one. We bring you some of the latest releases from Northern Cali and lots of new stuff, which is dropping December or in 2009. Most of the information come from City Hall Records bulletin, but we'll start with some independent projects and artists. Check it out.

The Vacaville Latin rapper Lil Raider is still holding us with his newest solo cd. The official release date was set for Oct. 31st, but the album did not drop. Let's get back to the latest album from an Oakland vet Yukmouth. It will officially hit the streets in February under Smoke-A-Lot and Asylum Records and it will feature 18 tracks. What's more, the digital version of "West Coast Don" will be available on the Internet in January and will include 24 tracks! If you didn't know they're already out with two projects: "Rise From The Underground" and "Round 2". Now they're back with an album entitled "20/20 Vision", which is filled with nice features from San Quinn, X-Raided, Turf Talk, Celly Cel, Spice 1, Dru Down, Mike Marshall and others. BayUndaground.com finally managed to get more information on the upcoming R Jay aka RJ (of Black Madness) album. You might have heard him for example on Apt.3 / DNA releases: "Theme Music To Drug Dealinz & Killinz" ("Standin On The Corner" track) or "Known Associates" ("Mr. Dopeman"). His debut solo endeavor will be released under the name of RJ Boone and the project itself is titled "Tha Streets Iz Mine". We'll definitely plug you with more information soon. There are good news for all you E.Z.S.D. and Fairfield rap fans. One of its members - Skip Dog - was released from the jail 3 weeks ago and is wrapping up an album containing the already recorded material. The cd will be named "Raw From Tha Jaw" and is scheduled for November 15th. You'll get 15 tracks featuring such artists as Q-Ball, Boogie Lee, Jay Sweets, Ironic and more. Production is handled by K-Lou and T-Roy.
