31 March 2010: Smokie Loco - A History Of Violence

There's been a little lag with releasing a debut solo album "A History Of Violence" by San Jose rapper Smokie Loco, but it's already been pressed up so the cd should be available very soon. We also have the official, final tracklist which includes 19 songs with guest appearances from Pistol C, Sleepy Santino, Big Oso Loc, Moreno, Sleepy (22B), Shea, Diablo, Porky Locs & Mr. Lucky. 31 March 2010: Lil Wino - Drunk In Public

Rapper Lil Wino hailing from Concord in the East Bay will be out with his new project on April 22nd. It will be a mixtape called "Drunk In Public" with guest appearances by Lil Coner, Chino Montana, Laced, Lil G, Amandi, Mac Eazy, Young Robbery, Lil JQ, Big Bustos & more. 31 March 2010: Haji Agent8 - Free Agent

Up and coming Oakland artist Haji Agent8 has just entered the rap game with a solo album titled "Free Agent". It features lots of tracks including a couple of skits and guest appearances by Haji Springer, Young Win, Scoot Dogg, Big Rich, Shad G and more. The cd is so far available only via digital download on CD Baby for $9.99, but we've been informed that the hard copies should be available on April 9th in Rasputins, Amoeba locations and other local stores. 31 March 2010: This Is How We Eat 3

There's going to be another part of "This Is How We Eat" series from Frisco Street Show label dropping June 15th. 30 March 2010: Zak1 & V-Boy - B-Boyz 2 D-Boyz

Two Redwood City representatives - Zak1 and V-Boy - are working on their joint project titled "B-Boyz 2 D-Boyz". Both of these artists are already familiar with the rap game. Zak 1 has already released a "Shortstopp'n" solo (read the review), a bunch of underground mixtapes and is also a member of Head Honchoz. While V-Boy has 2 solos under his belt and was also a part of Unafeyed Souljahz crew.

26 March 2010: David Rocha fka Sir Dyno news and interview

David Rocha formerly known as Sir Dyno is free for some time now. This ex-Darkroom Familia member is now fully concentrated on his spiritual life. He is giving testimonies and preaching about how his whole life changed thanks to Christianity and Jesus. He's planning to release a DVD with a self-explanatory title: "The Testimony of David Rocha" this June and we'll definitely keep you updated on the progress. David is also affiliated with the Parakletos movement.

BayUndaground.com is also going to conduct an exclusive interview with David pretty soon. We'll definitely talk about his new attitude, what he thinks about the past achievements, and - obviously - what are his future (not only musical) plans. So please stay tuned and watch out for it!


26 March 2010: X-Raided - The Unforgiven 2.5: Assisted Suicide

Finally there's a chance to grab a double album by the Sacramento rap veteran X-Raided called "The Unforgiven 2.5: Assisted Suicide". This collector's edition includes remastered songs from "Eternally Unforgiven" and "The Unforgiven 2" cds. What is more everything has been remastered, the vocals are crystal clean and a few tracks feature a new production. What is more, there's a brand new song for you: "Blast For Me". 25 March 2010: Young Ant - Power Pray

We have once announced that the Hayward, gospel rap representative Young Ant is going to release his second solo titled "Thinkin Like A Champ" this March. The former Unjust Hustlas member told us that the sophomore album got pushed back until further notice and he wanted to focus on promoting the nationwide release of his debut solo from 2008. That's right, "Power Pray" was so far available only in selected locations and it was a strictly underground Christian project.

Now Young Ant is close with Parakletos Music Network and will re-release Power Pray with a proper distribution this May. There's also a new artwork - peep the cover to your right. 25 March 2010: CelOne - The Free Agent

San Jose representative CelOne has just released the mixtape entitled "The Free Agent". It was mixed DJ JDef and hosted by Traxamillion. 24 March 2010: E-40 - Revenue Retrievin' and video

Highly anticipated solo by the Vallejo rap veteran E-40 will be available next week. You will in fact get 2 solos sharing the same concept as they are both named "Revenue Retrievin'", one subtitled "Day Shift", the other "Night Shift". San Jose rapper 2 Left Feet (known for instance from "Killa Sharks 4" or "Teal Town Boyz") is about to release his solo album late Spring. East Palo Alto camp - Spark It Up Records - lead by Smiley - is working on a new compilation series called "No Suckas". These cds will feature lots of well known names out of northern Cali Latin rap scene as well as some local artists. "No Suckas Vol. 1" is almost here, it will be available within a week and we'll surely confirm it. Smiley is planning to hit all Rasputins and many moms n pops shops in the West Bay and some record stores in the East Bay and San Jo. San Jose rapper 2 Left Feet (known for instance from "Killa Sharks 4" or "Teal Town Boyz") is about to release his solo album late Spring. We are a little late with this one, but it's always better to announce something later than never.
