30 April 2010: Beeda Weeda - Mack'n, Trap'n & Rap'n

East Oakland rapper Beeda Weeda is out with a new project called "Mack'n, Trap'n & Rap'n". It features 22 tracks with some well known Bay Area rap stars like Too Short, E-40, Yukmouth, Richie Rich, Ya Boy, J-Diggs, J Stalin, Laroo and much more. 30 April 2010: Balance - We All In

If you're a cd collector you can now cop the latest project by Oakland rapper Balance. His album "We All In" was released digitally on March 30th and you can download it for free from DatPiff. 30 April 2010: Carry The Cross II - San Joe

San Joe is one of the few northern Cali Christian rap representatives. He hails from San Jose and has already released a couple of solo albums, Crossfire project, 4 "Price Paid" compilations and another comp entitled "Carry The Cross". Now he's back with a second part of this series that was released on March 17th. "Carry The Cross II" features numerous, mostly solo performances by gospel rap and R&B artists from all over the northern Cali, but also from Portland, Phoenix or Denver. 30 April 2010: Big Chill - Chill Pill

Modesto rapper Big Chill is working on his new solo album. It will be entitled "Chill Pill" and is scheduled to be released on May 11th. You'll get 15 tracks without any features and with 100% production by Big Chill. The album will be available both in digital version (ex. iTunes) and in hard copies as well, which is a great news, as all previous Chill's releases were only available for free download. 30 April 2010: DAS - Audio Graffitti

Envius Musik and Teazem Beatz are striking again with yet another album. These San Jose representatives released numerous projects in 2009 and 2010 including "Swamp Water" by TC Kapone. Now it's time for the debut project by the artist DAS entitled "Audio Graffitti". Get ready for 20 tracks and production made by Teazem Beatz. 30 April 2010: Ike Dola - Beast Oakland

Oakland rapper Ike Dola (aka Dola Ike), who's known for his membership in Keak Da Sneak's Farm Boyz, is coming out with another solo album soon. The project will be called "Beat Oakland" and should be available late May. You'll hear guest appearances by Keak Da Sneak, The Jacka, J Stalin, Husalah, Dru Down, Lee Majors, Kaz Kyzah, Harm, Rahmean, Pretty Black & more. The production will be handled by Swerve, Trademark, Traxx, C-View, Stinj-E, Big Cheeze & I.Q.P. Album will be released under Nickel And Dime Entertainment. 29 April 2010: Young Capone - Tha Life Of A Youngsta

M.A.E. rapper Young Capone hailing from San Jose will drop his solo album on May 1st. However "Tha Life Of A Youngsta" is already pressed and available in the streets. 29 April 2010: I-5 Connect - The First 48

There's going to be a collaboration album from Bay Area and Seattle (Washington) rappers. The group called I-5 Connect is made of Killa Klump (South San Francisco), Matt Blaque (East Oakland), Dough (Seattle) and Outrageous (Seattle). Their joint project will be entitled "The First 48" and will be released under Royal Family label. It will feature guest appearances by Freeway, Crooked I, Kurupt, Enormus Tha Ox & more, plus production by Droop-E, Sean T, Swerve, Tryfe and more. 29 April 2010: Matt Blaque & Demolition Men - R&B Slap Vol. 6.0

Richmond based group The Arrangatang Gang is a duet of two young cats named AG and Coupe. They're out for some time with their "Signed Sealed Delivered" album. It was released on March 2nd and turned out to be a promotional project showcasing their talents and getting ready for the upcoming, official one. Antioch representative Magic teamed up with rapper Marka of Hookstarz and recorded a mixtape entitled "Permanent: The Mixtape". It's available now for free listen and download from DatPiff.com. 29 April 2010: Katz - Failed Treatment

Katz is a young rapper out of Hayward and you might have already recognized him by his appearances on Nobe's projects, as he's also a member of Infantry Records. He's now out with a solo album entitled "Failed Treatment". It is available for free download, so give it try and take it for example from here. The album also features a video for the track "In Our Way", watch it here:



"Failed Treatment" features 10 tracks with all original production by Nobe, Mart85, Beeyobe and JE Dub. 28 April 2010: Bay Boy - Menace II The City

The up-and-coming Bay Area artist named Bay Boy is almost finished with the mixtape entitled "Menace II The City". It is going to hit the streets and on-line spots on May 16th. Bay Boy mixes ghetto type of rap delivery with an R&B flavor that can already be heard on the single "Ballaholic" that even features a professional video. Watch it embedded below:

28 April 2010: Tha Spitflame Fam - The Album

Tha Spitflame Fam is a Latin megagroup representing Turlock in the 209 area code. The crew consists of many artists including Fatboy, Chico Flamez, Eli. P, Smoke Da Villian, Holiday Dibease, Cain, Joe Lettuce, Big Jess, Venomous Cobra and Rapattic (R.I.P.). Their upcoming release titled simply "The Album" is scheduled for July 24th. You can already listen to a single "My Hood My Block" that features a clean video:



Apart from numerous performances by the group members you'll also hear guest appearances by Jacka, Turf Talk, Shady Nate, Philthy Rich, Stevie Joe and Matt Blaque. 28 April 2010: Mr. Skrillz & Junebug Slim - The Adventures Of Franklin And Jackson

The upcoming duet album by two Sacramento rappers Mr. Skrillz and Junebug Slim will be available next week - on May 25th. The project will be titled "The Adventures Of Franklin And Jackson" and will include 17 tracks with a few guest appearances by T-Nutty, Dubb 20, Bueno, Lee Majors & Chase More. 28 April 2010: Brown Hustla Records - Nueve Diez Y Seis

South Sacramento group presented by Brown Hustla Records is out now with its debut official project titled "Nueve Diez Y Seis". The Latin crew consists of many artists yet the main members are J-Loco, Chuco, Lil Joker and Dirty-D. You'll also hear a couple of verses by Lonely Souljah and Reckless Reaction. The entire production was handled by J-Loco himself. The official release date of the album was yesterday (April 27th) and it is already available in a few local Sacramento spots like Dimple Records or The Beat. It will also be available in Rasputins all over the Bay Area and major on-line stores soon.

28 April 2010: Haji Agent8 - Free Agent

Up and coming Oakland artist Haji Agent8 has just entered the rap game with a solo album titled "Free Agent". It features lots of tracks including a couple of skits and guest appearances by Haji Springer, Young Win, Scoot Dogg, Big Rich, Shad G and more. The cd is so far available only via digital download on CD Baby for $9.99, but we've been informed that the hard copies should be available this Friday - April 30th - in Rasputins, Amoeba locations and other local stores. 28 April 2010: Filthy Handed Music presents Mobstas

Be on the lookout for a new compilation called "Mobstas" presented by Filthy Handed Music - an underground label out of West Pittsburg. There's no specific release date for this project, but we already know it will feature appearances by local P-Town artists like Dyno Gambino, Wicho, Bill Stack, XO, Cassius, but also homeboy rappers from other parts of the Bay like Young Crayze (formerly of Darkroom Familia), Goose, Keek Dogg (of 14 Caliber), Rob BaySicc and more. 28 April 2010: School Of Lost Souls - C.ultivated S.treet M.usic

Another free mixtape project was given by School Of Lost Souls, which is an 831 area code based duet made of Lil Evil (formerly known as Evil Locc II) and Acoldamac. They're both affiliated with Salinas camp P.B.K. (Point Blankk). Their latest album is called "C.ultivated S.treet M.usic" and includes 23 tracks with one feature by Double Raccs. 27 April 2010: Shill Macc - The Pusher

Fairfield rapper Shill Macc, who's lately known from his collaborations with AP.9, is finally coming out with the official solo album. It will be called "The Pusher" and will hit the streets and online stores on May 25th. You'll hear guest appearances by the Mob Figaz members The Jacka and AP.9, also from Dubb 20 and more. Two Modesto representatives are back after some hiatus. 27 April 2010: Annoy - A Boy With Noyz

Salinas, 831 area code, representative named Annoy has just debuted with an album entitled "A Boy With Noyz". This project was released this April under X'd Out Muzick label. The cd features 19 tracks with guest appearances by Dre Nitty, Sup 1, Dee-Boi and Tea-Why. The whole production was handled by Annoy himself. 27 April 2010: Dee-Boi - Pay Me Or Pay Me No Attention

Dee-Boi, local Salinas rap artist, but also one of the founding members of Single Parent Home, and 1/2 of the underground recording label X'd Out Muzick, plans to release his solo debut early Summer 2010. The album's going to be titled "Pay Me Or Pay Me No Attention". Production credits include Fury, T-Bone, DJ-Upshaw, E-Low, Annoy, Cal-P, J-Blak and more. As far as guest appearances are concerned you'll hear features by such Central Coast rappers as Dre Nitty, Fury Figueroa, J-Mac, Sup1, Simone, Annoy, Mystery Child, Cold Brewskii, Sam-Sin and more. 27 April 2010: Young Ant - Power Pray

Hayward gospel rap representative Young Ant - an Unjust Hustlas ex-member - has just re-released his debut album "Power Pray". That's right, "Power Pray" was so far available only in selected locations and it was a strictly underground Christian project, but now should be available nationwide with proper distribution. Young Ant is close with Parakletos Music Network where the re-pressed solo is already available, so get in touch with them or you may contact Ant directly via his MySpace page.

26 April 2010: To Haiti With Love

If you were waiting for the new project presented by Kontac and dedicated to Haiti you'll have to hold up a bit more. It was scheduled to drop tomorrow, but due to the fact that it will be promoted by the NFL, it will be available somewhere around next week, in the beginning of May. You've probably heard of the new project presented by Yukmouth called "420". Rapper Snype of Shiesty Ridaz Productions has been featured on yesterday's radio show hosted by Loaded at RadioTalk. "The Happy Hour" was played on April 22nd at 9PM, but is now available online for stream or download at BlogRadioTalk. You'll hear about upcoming projects from Snype and you'll also have a chance to hear tracks from the upcoming "Gangsta Matik" album, which is now available on iTunes and will be hitting the streets May 18th.

23 April 2010: Beeda Weeda & DJ Fresh - Bassrock Babies

You'll also hear Beeda Weeda rapping over DJ Fresh beats as they're about to release their collabo album called "Bassrock Babies". It was recorded a few years ago, but they waited with it until now. What's more the album will be free for download and for those who prefer having a physical cd it will be also available in hard copies. Homeboy rapper Shadow from the Kettleman City in the 559 area code is working on the compilation entitled "Straight Out Tha Barrio". Expect 19 banged out tracks that feature such Valley representatives as Baby Boy Ene, Sonny Boy Lokzter, Juney, Smokey, Young Rich and also Bay residents like SJ's Nsanity or Chino Montana from the 925. 22 April 2010: Fury Figeroa - Method 2 Tha Madness

831 area code, Salinas representative Fury, now also known as Fury Figeroa, is working on another solo. So far he released a collabo project with King, a duet with Yun-Gun, a solo titled "Ferocious" and another one (digital only) in 2009 entitled "Typhoon Hoggin'". 20 April 2010: Lo-Dub - Decomposed

There's an up and coming Bay Area artist bringing that sick material to the table. I'm talking about Lo-Dub who released his debut full-length solo album entitled "Decomposed" in the end of March. You might have already heard him as a part of the group 3 Way Funk or Bloccknock Bros. He was also featured on local Hayward releases by Big Lou or Keyd. "Decomposed" features guest appearances by Brotha Lynch Hung, G-Macc, Black C, Calico 101, Big Lou, Keyd, E-Rock, Boss Hogg and more. Hittaz On Tha Payroll and member and East Oakland representative Eddi Projex is working on yet another solo album. If you're into more hip-hop side of the Bay Area music scene, you should know that a new album by The High Yella Club is available for free download. The group consists of the former Bored Stiff member Big Shawn and Gas Mask Colony representative Dregs One, hailing from San Francisco.
