30 July 2010: D.E.A. - 32 Bars Mixtape (free)

Golden State representative D.E.A. released a solo entitled "New Jack City" this July. Not even a month passed by and he's back with yet another solo project. The new one is titled "32 Bars Mixtape" and it will be officially available tomorrow under Breathe Records and Get That Cream Ent. 30 July 2010: Baldhead Rick - Ghetto Patriot

The wait is over! After a 7-year long hiatus the rapper Baldhead Rick from Lakeview, San Francisco is back with his sophomore solo project. It's called "Ghetto Patriot" and was released under Powerful Music Entertainment. As for now it's only available on RapBay.com, but be sure to check us out later as we'll definitely inform you about other spots where you can purchase it. 30 July 2010: Danked Out - The Takeover

East Vallejo representative named Danked Out is out with the solo joint called "The Takeover". As for now you can purchase it only in digital version, for instance on CD Baby, but hard copies will probably be pressed later. The album includes 19 songs with guest appearances by Krypto, Indecent, Shill Macc, Pody Mouf, Roach Gigz, Stik Gilatine, Ice Meez, A.G. Cubano, J-Minixx and more. 30 July 2010: 14-Gauge & D-Tun - Northern Threat

If you are craving for some Latin homeboy rap, you should know that two up-and-coming Sacramento representatives are cooking something for you. 14-Gauge and D-Tun of Magnificent Entertainment are almost done with their debut collaboration titled "Northern Threat". 30 July 2010: Be Gee - Still Gotta BG

Sac-Town veteran Be Gee is back from musical hiatus, as he's returning with a solo entitled "Still Gotta BG". Unfortunately it got pushed back and should be available in September, but you can already pre-order your copies at the official website begeepresents.net for $10.81. This album will feature 11 tracks with features by AK The Teflon Don, Hermanata, Bone's and Nino Black. The production is handled by Phonk Beta, Five Star, Hermanata, Fatts and Taylor Made. Stik Gilatine - known as the Fly Guy of the streets of San Jose - is back again with another free release. It's a solo mixtape called "Stik Skywalker" which you can legally download now from MonstaVille website. This project includes over 20 cuts with guest appearances by Playa Rae, Tha Critic, Roach Gigz, Young Gully, Trey-C and a few others. 28 July 2010: Messy Marv, The Jacka & Blanco - Jonestown

There's another hot collabo album coming out this Summer in the Bay Area. It's a group album by Messy Marv, The Jacka and Blanco (of the Yay Boyz). Their joint work will be called "Jonestown" and it is now available on RapBay.com. The official release date is either August 3rd (confirmed by City Hall Records and a few other online spots) or August 17th. It's a tragedy that there's no promotion for this cd, so as of now we can't give you more details, but as soon as we know something we will post it on BayUndaground.com. 27 July 2010: Big Lou, Lil-O & Big Riggs - Life's A Gamble

Today's an official release date of the brand new project by the Hayward representative Big Lou. However you should also know that it's already available at RapBay for some time now for $9.99. Modesto representatives Unknown and Venomous were staying silent for some time. They left Darkroom Familia, had many ups and downs but now they are back in business. Unknown's Platinum Dope Ent. has just released the Firebreatherz duo group album that was supposed to drop long time back. Be on the lookout for a new solo album by the San Francisco rapper Proficy. He'll drop an LP project called "Releasin' Tension" on August 10th (pre-order available now at RapBay.com). The infamous Latin group Darkroom Familia is planning to release a sophomore solo album by one of its members - Stockton representative Young D, who's been with them for over a decade now. His first solo album "The Mind Of A Mexican" dropped 8 years and now he's coming up with "Northern Cali Lifestyle" that should hit the streets on July 20th under Darkroom Studios.

Here's another fresh interview to come to BayUndaground.com this July. This time we had a chance to talk with the northern Cali artist Mr. Loco who's affiliated with Assassin, Outlawz, Thug Life and Steady Mobbin. He told us about his networking, living for many years in Europe, his attitude towards digital market as well as about his brand new solo entitled "OG Status". [ BayUndaground.com ] : So, how did your rap experience really begin? How did you hook up with Mike Mosley and Steady Mobbin?

[ Mr. Loco ] : My first rap experience was when I was a kid honestly, my step brother got me listening to Beastie Boys and the Fat Boys when I was 4 years old and then when I was 8 my mom came home with Ice-T's album "Power" and she used to tell me to listen to the track "High Rollers" because that's what she was and since then I was hooked! Now to jump in to the future to answer the next part of the question, in 2005 I heard about Mike Mosley was looking for new artists on West Coast Rydaz, I think it was and I went to his website and I sent an e-mail with a song attached to it. Sacramento rap fans should already know who Relly Rel is, as he has already released a compilation titled "Project Mobb" together with C-Dubb back in 2009 and a promotional mixtape "Jacramento: Definition Of Real Looms" this year itself. Right now he's working on yet another promotional product from the "Jacramento" series. The new mixtape is going to be titled "Loomified" and is scheduled for August 3rd. 04 July 2010: The Testimony of David Rocha DVD - Sir Dyno

David Rocha formerly known as Sir Dyno is free for some time now. This ex-Darkroom Familia member is now fully concentrated on his spiritual life. He is giving testimonies and preaching about how his whole life changed thanks to Christianity and Jesus. The release date of his DVD with a self-explanatory title: "The Testimony of David Rocha" was pushed back until late July and we'll definitely keep you updated on the progress. David is also affiliated with the Parakletos movement.

If you don't know we also managed to conduct a long interview with David Rocha a couple of months back. We talked mainly about his new mission, preaching, the way he views the past, upcoming musical plans and many more. 04 July 2010: Franchyze - None Flyer

First days of July brought another solo by the Bay Area representative Franchyze who was once a member of a successful duo Undasett. The brand new album is titled "None Flyer" and is available right now at various on-line spots for digital download including CD Baby for $9.99. Franchyze himself describes this cd as "a fresh blend of mainstream and underground rap". You will get a set of 19 tracks, however we don't know whether there's anyone featured or not. 04 July 2010: Double-O & The Bay Area Bad Girlz - Vol. 1 A-Team

Double-O is not only a Vallejo female rapper, but also a founder of The Bay Area Bad Girlz as well as an activist promoting a strength and unity of femininity. That's what BABG are all about. Among its members you will find such female rappers and singers as Suga-T, De Ja Voo, Ms. Shannon Lacy, Dynamic Duo, Ms. Moka, Danja, Toya G, DJ BackSide, DJ Blue and more. 02 July 2010: Conspiracy and Young Savi - Lil Town Savz

There's finally some buzz in the 831 area code rap scene. Monterey County representatives have teamed up to create a "Lil Town Savz" project. The artists are Conspiracy and Young Savi of Savage Pro'z Ent. You could already hear them on the "Savulation" compilation series showcasing the local talents. "Lil Town Savz" should be out on July 10th - both on-line as well as in the streets. This project has support from Strong Arm and Thizz Latin. We're back with some fresh information on the upcoming compilation project called "Thizz City". It's a debut project by the new SFC label Thizz City. The compilation, hosted by Messy Marv, was postponed and will be available August 10th.
