30 November 2010: Big Rich - Built To Last

Today is the official release date for the latest album by the SFC giant Big Rich. "Built To Last" is a CD / DVD combo that looks more like a compilation than a thoroughbred solo album - all songs except for one have guest appearances. You can buy the album online on RapBay or iTunes. What you'll get is 17 tracks with additional features by lots of well-known as well as lesser artists: Too Short, San Quinn, Paul Wall, Husalah, Laroo, Jacka, Ya Boy, Bailey and many more. 30 November 2010: Keak Da Sneak - Sneakacydal Returns

Keak Da Sneak is collaborating with DJ Fresh to record the "Tonite Show" episode. The album will be named "Sneakacydal Returns" and should be out on February 15th. It will include 13 tracks with guest appearances by Yukmouth, Hoodstarz, T-Nutty, Shady Nate, Jay Jonah, D-Lo, Young Moses & more. 29 November 2010: Andre Nickatina & The Jacka - My Middle Name Is Crime EP

Be on the lookout for a new collabo album by two of the most wanted Bay Area rappers - Andre Nickatina and The Jacka. Their joint project will be an EP cd called "My Middle Name Is Crime" and it will be out on December 14th. 29 November 2010: Andre Nickatina & Smoov-E - The King And Mr. Biscuits

There's more to come for Andre Nickatina fans. It is a collaboration album with Sebastopol representative Smoov-E aka Mr. Biscuits, hence the title of the project - "The King And Mr. Biscuits". Even though Andre Nickatina once posted that it should be out by November 23rd, other sources mentioned that it was postponed until January 18th. Expect 11 tracks that include 5 remixes. 29 November 2010: Soldier Hard - Soldier Of The Bay

The Bay Area military rap representative Soldier Hard is finally coming out with his new big solo album. The official release date for "Soldier Of The Bay" is December 1st. The project will include 18 tracks with guest appearances from such famous figures like San Quinn, Jay Tee, Spice 1, Berner, Mr. Kee, Young Dru & more. 29 November 2010: Mace - Purple Heart: Life Is Priceless

You should already know the San Jose representative Enormus Tha Ox who has been a part of two I-5 Connect albums. Plus he released two mixtapes in recent years. He's a CEO of the Top Rank record label that has just released a solo by the fellow Samoan artist by the name of Mace. His album is titled "Purple Heart: Life Is Priceless" and is available right now, mainly sold out of trunk. You will get 12 tracks with lots of features by Enormus Tha Ox. Other guest artists are Mace's family - brothers and cousins. Expect original production from Tall-T, SD, The Synthesis, Victracy and Enormus Tha Ox. Get at Mace at his MySpace and Twitter pages. 23 November 2010: Chariz - Leader Of The New School (free)

Pittsburg / Vallejo representative named Chariz - formerly known as Charizma - has recently released a free, promotional album entitled "Leader Of The New School". He debuted in 2006 with a solo album "King Of The Jungle" then returned in 2009 with a follow-up "The Resurrection". 2010 also brought a collaboration release with Mike-Dash-E titled "The Funeral". The hereby solo can be downloaded from his official website youngchariz.com. Rey Resurreccion is a San Jose representative who you may remember from a "Limitless" cd that dropped last year. A couple of days ago Rey brought his new solo joint entitled "Sleeping Giants". 23 November 2010: Jimmie Reign - Digital Girl

Jimmie Reign is one of the most talented RnB female singers out of the Bay Area. After releasing a debut solo album earlier this year she's now planning to drop another one called "Digital Girl" on December 7th. As the title suggests the cd will only be available in digital shape. You can already preview some tracks from the album on Jimmie's Reverb Nation website. 23 November 2010: Mr. Skrillz - Four Full Thangz

There are good news for all Sacramento rap fans who didn't have a chance to grab Mr. Skrillz releases. This Sacra representative has just put 4 of his previous cds into one project and he's selling it for a very low price in digitals. "Four Full Thangz" includes songs from Skrillz' duet albums with Junebug Slim (read our review), G-Bundle, Mac Cheeze and a compilation called "Slanging At The Cornerstore". The whole project features a set of 68 songs, which costs only $5.99 on iTunes and $6.99 on Amazon. 19 November 2010: Courtesy 1 - The Takeover Mixtape

Fresno representative Courtesy 1 has just laced us with some fresh information on his upcoming projects. The first one called "The Takeover" mixtape that we've already talked about was pushed back a little bit and will be released on December 14th. It will include 22 tracks with a few guest appearances by TreeChoppa, Drew Da Legend, J Rocc, Foe-Kast, GD, Nathan & Details. There's also another mixtape in works entitled "The Ray Clemenza Mixtape" which is dropping on January 4th. You should already know the San Jose representative Enormus Tha Ox who has been a part of two recent I-5 Connect albums. Plus he released two mixtapes in recent years. He's a CEO of the Top Rank record label. The first album to be released by this company is a solo debut by the fellow Samoan artist by the name of Mace. His album will be titled "Purple Heart: Life Is Priceless" and it should be out any day now, BayUndaground.com will definitely keep you posted about the progress. We're back with brand new, first interview this November. This time we had a chance to direct our flood of questions to Bay Area area legend Ad Kapone - EPA resident and a member of a well-known group Totally Insane. He will tell you a lot about background of TI projects, his sentence, first solo project and the brand new one "Kingpin: The 6 Year Theory". What is more, Ad shares his views and opinions on the contemporary rap scene, so it is definitely a great read, especially for the ones who want to hear it from OG's perspective. Furthermore, Ad Kapone gave us a green light to publish a History of Totally Insane, which was once only posted on a message board - right now it is available below the interview. [ BayUndaground.com ] : When you left the pen you recorded your debut solo "The K Word" - tell us a bit more about it. Why is it so hard-to-get?

[ Ad Kapone ] : I jumped back into the studio at the end of 2007, beginning of 2008. I recorded "The K Word" (my first solo album) to explain a little about what happened to me and let the fans know the real, that I was still in the game and that I was back. I financed the album myself off work checks and paid features and it was hard trying to manage an album with all the different things I was going thru, being fresh out of prison, not fully understanding how much the game had changed, family, finance, living situation, probation, relationships. We wrote yesterday about two upcoming projects from Bloc Star record label - C-Dubb's new solo and Gangsta Reese's greatest hits compilation. The label is not going to stop and will soon lace with yet another album by Sacramento veteran X-Raided. 2009 brought "The Unforgiven Vol. 1" rerelease and volume 2. 2010 came with "The Unforgiven 2.5: Assisted Suicide" and a group album "Bloc Bizniz".
