30 December 2010: Point Blank Muzic presents - Muzic 4 Tha Mobb Volume 4 (free)

We're back with info on the upcoming installment of the "Muzic 4 Tha Mobb" mixtape handled by Sacramento's Point Blank Muzic representatives. Volume 4 will hit the streets and Internet any day now, as it's scheduled for January 1st. What we know for sure is that you'll hear 20 songs with a couple of skits. Guest appearances will include Tre Mak, Sixx Figgaz, Robb Cole, Jay City, Bigg Caine, Baby Bubb, Dirty Red, Slo-O, Genisis & more. Production will be handled by Baby Bubb, G Money, Epik, Superstar O, Jay City and Flashy. We'll lace you with detailed tracklist soon. 30 December 2010: Cris-G - Real Simple

This was a pretty good year for Hayward based Scripp Block Muzik record label and its CEO Big Lou. Let's summarize what they released in 2010:

From what we know you won't hear the mob type music that Scripp Block got you used to. Instead it is more of a lyrical hip-hop. 30 December 2010: Sixx Figgaz - West Coast Livin (free)

Sixx Figgaz - the North Highlands representative - already released lots of promotional albums this year, including "Quicc Tape", the collabo "M.W.A." recorded together with AceTrain, the solo "Steady Chasin" and the compilation "North West Vol. 4". The brand new installment is an EP entitled "West Coast Livin". You can already watch a video to the tracks "So West" and "West Livin":

30 December 2010: Beejus - BeeSmoove (free)

Check out the new, free digital release from Oakland rapper by the name of Beejus. The album is called "BeeSmoove" and includes 13 tracks with original production by Oops and one song done by Chris Rock. 28 December 2010: Expel - Handstamps & Wristbands

Be on the lookout for the new solo album by hip-hop artist by the name of Expel hailing from Oakland. His forthcoming project called "Handstamps & Wristbands" will be available in Spring of 2011. There's already an official single called "Free" that features Mike Marshall which you can download for free. Also be sure to check Expel's free mixtape cd that dropped not that long ago. You should already be familiar with the new Bay Area record label called DLK Enterprise that has been featured on our website numerous times with news articles, reviews and interviews with Telly Mac and Dirty J. They aren't stopping their crusade so expect to hear their new compilation album on February 15th. 25 December 2010: Blanco - American Psycho

We can now confirm that the first official solo album from Bay Area artist Blanco will be released on March 15th under Guerrilla Entertainment. The album will include a street single "Yeah" with Gucci Mane & Dorrough, while the remaining cuts will also feature verses by Nipsey Hussle, Freeway, Redman, Messy Marv & Jacka. The beats will be delivered by Cookin' Soul.


25 December 2010: Boogie Man - Boogie Wo' Mack

Thizz Latin will be releasing a debut solo album by 408 area code representative by the name of Boogie Man. His project will be entitled "Boogie Wo' Mack" and will be available on February 15th. Expect to hear production by Baby Boss and Serg with guest appearanances from Messy Marv, Clyde Carson, J-Diggs, Scrilla Sam, Goldtoes, Monique Martinez and more. 25 December 2010: Monique Martinez - Make Up 2 Break Up

Monique Martinez is another Bay Area girl tryin' to bubble up in the RnB/rap game. You should remember her from previous Thizz Latin releases and the street single "Waiting On You" with Goldtoes, Prima J and Baby Boss which featured clean video.



Now Monique is working on her solo material called "Make Up 2 Break Up" that is scheduled to drop on February 15th under Thizz Latin. 25 December 2010: Frank Stickemz - The Flashtape: Son Of The Game

24 December 2010: COS & Crook - Broken Mirrors EP Mixtape

Sacramento have definitely heard of the rapper COS who's affiliated with Brotha Lynch Hung and his label Madesicc Muzicc. If you're familiar with his recordings, then you must have also heard of Crookwood who now goes by the name Crook. Both these artists are working on a joint collaboration project entitled "Broken Mirrors". This will be an EP mixtape and should be available in the first quarter of 2011. 24 December 2010: DEA - All Is Fair In Love & War

We have already informed you twice this year about endeavors of central / northern Cali artist named DEA. So far he has released "New Jack City" and a free, promotional product titled "32 Bars Mixtape". In order to start the new year 2011 right, DEA decided to drop the new solo "All Is Fair In Love & War" on January 11th. Watch out for this one coming out on Breathe Records with production by DEA himself. You will receive 18 tracks with a couple of features by Amir, Tune, Bigg Spank, Berg Slim and Wallay. 24 December 2010: Salineros: Down By Tha Bowl Part 2

If you're into northern California Latin gangsta rap you'd better be ready for the upcoming compilation called "Salineros: Down By Tha Bowl Part 2". As the title says the album will mostly present artists out of the 831 area code. You'll hear performances by local artists like Lil Teck, Lonely Boy, Snoop, Yantz, Angelo, Evil, Sandman, Slim, Lil Oso but also 6 verses by Madera representative Tokztero (aka Drew). 20 December 2010: John Que & O.G.E. - Tango And Cash

John Que is a San Francisco veteran, however some of you youngsters may not be aware of his endeavors. Formerly known as Gee-Que he released such classic and nowadays sought-after solos as "Sucka Free City" and "Catch Me In The Wind" in mid 90's. He returned to the game in 2009 with a collaboration project "Duffle Bag Boys" recorded together with Guce.

He's just released another duo album - this time with the fellow rapper O.G.E. "Tango And Cash" is available now on iTunes for $9.99. Regular retail stores should have it by January 25th. 20 December 2010: Mistah F.A.B. - I Found My Backpack

19 December 2010: Spittlez - All About The Hustle

Female rap artist Spittlez - born in Chicago, now living in Sacramento, Cali - is a step away from releasing her debut solo album under the wings of Sacra rap veteran - E-Moe. Her project called "All About The Hustle" will be released under PayStyle Music on January 11th 2011. 17 December 2010: San Quinn and Loyal-T - Never Say Die

We've got some fresh news from South San Francisco representative Loyal-T (fka Sleepy Santino) and his new collabo album with SFC giant San Quinn called "Never Say Die". The album was unofficially released and sold via CD Baby a couple of months ago, but it is now no longer available for sale. Good news is the project is coming out officially on January 11th and will be available at all Rasputins, Dimples, Amoebas, Streetlight and more as well as iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and Bandcamp. At the time I was competing with different artists, seeing who could be the fastest to put together a project. Because we had a quota we had to meet the distribution deal that was done.
