27 February 2011: E-40 - Revenue Retrievin: Overtime Shift

27 February 2011: E-40 - Revenue Retrievin: Graveyard Shift

25 February 2011: DJ Fresh & The Whole ShaBang - Thizz Nation

Be on the lookout for another part from Thizz Nation series. This time it will be handled by one of the most famous Bay Area producers - DJ Fresh himself and his The Whole ShaBang team. The album will include verses by people he's been already networking with. Therefore expect guest appearances by such Oakland artists as Philthy Rich, Beeda Weeda, HD, Lil Rue, Stevie Joe, Shady Nate and more. 25 February 2011: C-Lim - Blasphemy mixtape (free)

Stockton, Ca representative C-Lim should already be known to you, because he released such solo albums as "What Dat N Like", "Spoils Of War" or "Starwars: The Npire Strikes Bacc". Now he's back with brand new mixtape for 2011. It is titled "Blasphemy" and is available for free listen/download at DatPiff.com. It features 18 tracks with guest appearances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Too Short, E-40 and more well-known rap stars. 23 February 2011: Street Connect Soundtrack and DVD

2Face Entertainment is a 831 area code based record label run by Grindhouse fka Gemini. Fans of underground local scene and readers of BayUndaground.com could already hear about solos by such artists as Gemini and Yun-Gun. What is more, 2Face dropped an album by Young Blaze in 2010 titled "Blaze 2 Richez" that even got reviewed by our staff - read the article.

Grindhouse has been working hard on the DVD recently. "Street Connect" is not your typical rap movie filled with fights, flossing, i-candy etc. You should rather get ready for a real-life story of an independent hustle. It was filmed in various cities including Soledad, Salinas, Marina, Seaside, Castroville, Watsonville, Merced and many more. The screening / release party will take place in Soledad on April 15th.

What is more, there will also be a cd soundtrack for it. It will feature 17 tracks that were most probably heard before, as a majority of them are taken from other projects, so don't necessarily expect something entirely new if you are a fan of 831 rap scene. Appearances include Grindhouse, Yun-Gun, Young Blaze, Tommy Blue Eyez, Yung Cavi, Primo, Untamed Gorillaz, Superior 1 and many more. 23 February 2011: Ragz Bubz - Filthy Chronicles: Street Album

Ragz Bubz is an up-and-coming artist out of San Francisco. Back in 2003 - when he performed under the name of Bubs - he released a collaboration album together with A-Wax and Telly Mac entitled "Pie-Rx Alumni". Now he's back with a solo debut. His brand new street album "Filthy Chronicles" is now available on iTunes. Among guest appearances you will hear Smigg Dirtee, Telly Mac, Bryce, AK and more. 23 February 2011: Hot aka Marty McFly - Money Never Sleeps (free)

Be sure to peep the most recent mixtape project by Vallejo rapper Hot (of The D.B.'z, signed to Sick Wid' It Records). The album is called "Money Never Sleeps" and includes 22 cuts with guest appearances by Dirty Work (the other half of The D.B.'z), Droop-E, Yung Bundle, Q Laden, TJ, Blaze Kid & Timothy Maurice. Check out the latest installment of "Hustla Movement" by an Oakland rapper Young Gully. He has just brought you the third part which is now available in digitals for free download. 22 February 2011: Thugzy - Ghetto Ballin' (re-release)

East Palo Alto rapper Thugzy has recently re-released and re-mastered his sophomore solo album called "Ghetto Ballin'". It is available in digitals on CD Baby for $10.99 right now. There's a new cover and a changed, shorter track listing. You'll get a set of 15 tracks (the original release included 21) with guest appearances by Droopy Lector, Baby Brown, Mumblez, Mack Moss, Rob D., Chivo Loc, Tha Twin Brothers and Hopie Lokz. 20 February 2011: TC Kapone - Hard Headed

You should already be familiar with TC Kapone - a San Jose rapper that dropped three solo joints, from which "Swamp Water" and "High Tide" were reviewed by BayUndaground.com staff. Right now TC is working on his fourth official solo project that will be called "Hard Headed" and will be released on May 5th.



As far as we know it will definitely feature beats by Teazem and also a few tracks by Dank Ene and Ricichet. The album will include guest appearances by Mr. Kee, Woodie, Lil Raider, Big Lou, Teazem, Plain, J Mackin, Big Riggs, Ariana, Chraze C and more. 20 February 2011: Loaded & Opiet - Lost In Smoke (free)

Check out the new duet album by Richmond representative Loaded and San Pablo rapper Opiet. 20 February 2011: Zak1 - Left 4 Dead

Zak1, the Redwood City, 650 area code representative, is has just released his brand new album. "Left 4 Dead" features a nice comic-book style cover and is available in digital only format on iTunes right now. You will get 15 tracks with lots of solo songs and only a couple of guest appearances by Ed Dosia, Mac El, JB Da Original, Opium and Lil Mike.

20 February 2011: Gorilla Gang - We On That Mob Shit

Be on the lookout for a new album by Killa Tay's Gorilla Gang group. It will be a digital only project called "We On That Mob Shit" that will include 14 tracks with verses by Tay Capone himself, Mahem, Big-Ju, Tha K.A.M.P., Dobad, Thug Misses, Iceberg, Hussle Back and more. 20 February 2011: J Stalin & Stevie Joe - Live On The Wire

There's another official project from Livewire camp in the works. This time it will be a collaboration album from Oakland rappers J Stalin and Stevie Joe. Their duo cd will be titled "Live On The Wire" and will drop under Livewire and Zoo labels. We also know that the whole production will be handled by The Mekanix. 20 February 2011: Nono Brown - Tha Londonero

We are a bit late with this news, but better later than never. 11550 Records released a solo by the 559 area code artist some time back. Nono Brown represents a small town of London in the Central Valley. His debut solo endeavor entitled "Tha Londonero" is available now in various stores, including RapBay.com. What you'll get is a set of 15 gangbanging tracks filled with nothing but that northern Cali homeboy rap. 20 February 2011: Lil Aaron - The Re-Up The Come Up

Lil Aaron is an un-and-upcoming rapper out of northern part of Oakland. He has already released a mixtape project and has recently dropped a solo album on his own label Global Hustlaz Records. 19 February 2011: AP.9 - Relentless

You've probably heard that the rapper AP.9 of the Mob Figaz is aiming at his new, double solo album. Now it's official and today we bring you the cover, track listing and the producers credits for the upcoming "Relentless" project by Bishop. 17 February 2011: Savage-C & Mista Cane - They Listen Closer When You're Dead

San Mateo rapper Savage-C (of Nocturnal Hustlers) will flood you with his new projects this year. He's already come out with a solo endeavor called "The Garbage Pail Kid". Next to come is a duet cd with San Leandro artist Mista Cane. Their collaborative work will see the daylight around April and will be called "They Listen Closer When You're Dead". 17 February 2011: LR - self titled

There's a new project by another up-and-coming Oakland rapper. This time it's a self titled solo joint from LR presented by Philthy Rich. As for now the cd is only available via iTunes in digitals. 16 February 2011: Mugs Money - Rap Cocaine (free)

Soldierz Of Fortune is a group led by the San Francisco veteran Mr. Kee. None if its members have released anything until this week. Two cds dropped on the same day and the first one is a solo street album by Mugs Money. "Rap Cocaine" is hosted by DJ Clean and features 18 tracks with lots of solo cuts. 16 February 2011: Kr Mack - Playin Wit Da Stove (free)

Another street album from the Soldierz Of Fortune camp is a solo endeavor by Kr Mack, presented by Mr. Kee himself. His album is titled "Playin Wit Da Stove" and features a lot of 21 songs with a gang of various features by the likes of Dot Com, Deuce, Johnny V, Cadillac Mike, Homewrecka, K-Loc, Roach Gigz and way more. This cd is also hosted by DJ Clean and can be downloaded for free from here.

Conspiracy is a Marina, 831 area code representative who brought you the "Lil Town Savz" project recorded together with the fellow rapper Young Savi in 2010. Now he's planning to begin 2011 with the compilation entitled "Bizness Men Part II". It's a follow-up to part one that was released in 2008 and even got reviewed by the BayUndaground.com staff - read the review.

Conspiracy and Sandman are planning to release this brand new compilation before March 14th and it is possible that we'll even see it sooner. Get ready for a lot of 21 tracks. After the 2010 "Live By Night" release Richmond Hard Hitta is back with a sequel project called "The Night Continues". The upcoming solo from Laroo will be an exclusive iTunes cd so you'll be able to cop it only in digitals. It will be available on February 22nd under Timeless Music. A couple of days ago we published the news article about an alleged Matt Blaque album entitled "King Of The Function" which was announced by City Hall. It turns out not to be an official nor an authorized Matt Blaque's project. It is at most a collection of tracks not meant to be released. The only official album is the one presented by BME/Budapest record labels and it is titled "Blaqueout". There's still no cover to this solo, the one to your right is a "Tequila" single featuring Tha Jacka. "Blaqueout" is scheduled to hit the stores this May. 03 February 2011: The Associates - Broken Hearts Club

Be on the lookout for a new project by Bay Area up-and-coming duet The Associates. They debuted last year with an official long play entitled "Get Associated". Right now they're a step away from dropping a new mixtape album called "Broken Hearts Club". As the title suggests this cd will be strictly dedicated to stories about women and relationships. Bay Area rap fans probably remember the Sunnyvale, Ca group by the name of II Sicc that released two classic albums "Judgement Day" and "Talez From The Sicc". Back then this duo consisted of J-Locc and Lil Moe. Now these people are known under different names: Gemstone and Main 1. Topcat aka T.C. joined them and the whole trio now records as The Hit-Men. Watch out for their joint album "By Any Means" to be released on March 22nd. San Francisco representative Ya Boy who is mostly known for his mixtape game will soon hit you with yet another promotional album. We're not sure whether "Kalifornia Konvict" is yet another mixtape, most probably an EP quenching your thirst before his sophomore official solo. 01 February 2011: Sixx Figgaz - Tha Grind

North Highlands, 916 area code representative Sixx Figgaz is at it again. He has already released a whole load of various promotional products in 2010. He's now working on a solo mixtape entitled "Tha Grind" that should be available on February 8th. It's going to feature 18 tracks with guest appearances by Tre Mak, A-Dub, GH, A.T. and more. 01 February 2011: Clone - Under Pressure

Modesto 209 area code rapper Clone is working on his sophomore solo album. In 2009 he debuted with an official LP entitled "Threats" which featured a couple of mainstream singles with clean videos (check them out at our Videos Section). This month he'll be back with another project called "Under Pressure" which will include such anthems as "Ima Threat" and "Make A Movie" with Riz - both already available on iTunes. The album will be released under Thizz Nation on March 15th and will include 18 tracks with Dubee, Messy Marv, J-Diggs, Da Looie, Luni Coleone, E-40, Mac Mall, Sleep Dank, Skyballa, Husalah and more. Obviously don't expect to hear anything new on this one, it will most probably contain only Dre's appearances on other's people albums, the ones you could already purchase.
