28 April 2011: Chariz - The End Is Near EP (free)

Chariz (fka as Charizma) should be known from his official solo projects like "King Of The Jungle" and "The Resurrection". This Filipino native also brought a duet album with Mike-Dash-E last year. Now he's working on his third official solo that will be called "It's Curtains" and will hit the stores on June 7th. The album is already promoted with a single titled "The Way She Moves" with San Quinn and Elijah Henry that is available on iTunes. To quench fans' thirst he has just dropped a free, digital EP cd entitled "The End Is Near" which includes 9 exclusive tracks - that won't be featured on the upcoming LP - and snippets from the next solo. Even though the official release date for the new Jacka's album is May 3rd it is already available for sale on RapBay. 28 April 2011: Rice4Ever - Riceanese (free)

Rice4Ever is an up-and-coming Oakland rapper with a couple of digital only releases under his belt. Recent weeks brought yet another free-for-download solo album by this rapper. The name of the project is "Riceanese" and it features 15 songs out of which most are solo cuts. Only one single cut has guest appearances by Johnny 2uest and Mykytyn. 28 April 2011: J Stalin & Young Doe - Diesel Therapy

BayUndaground.com brings some fresh news on the upcoming J Stalin collabo album with Denver, Colorado rapper Young Doe. Their duet project will be called "Diesel Therapy" and will be released under Elite Entertainment Group on June 21st. 27 April 2011: C-Lim & Mac Tae - All Black Everything mixtape (free)

Stockton representative C-Lim hooked up with the fellow artist Mac Tae to bring you a mixtape entitled "All Black Everything". It is hosted by DJ Vlad and is scheduled to be released on May 17th. In fact it is currently available for pre-order on Lim's official website. Those of you who decide to pre-order will release the album a week before the release date together with a signed copy, shirt as well as a poster. 27 April 2011: Dregs One - The Wake Up Call Mixtape (free)

San Francisco emcee and Gas Mask Colony member by the name of Dregs One should already be known to those who follow BayUndaground.com's News section. The end of 2010 brought you his collaboration album with Equipto entitled "The Generation Gap". Now he's back with a free mixtape promoting his upcoming full-length solo endeavor. The mixtape is titled "The Wake Up Call" - it is also meant to open people's eyes for the surrounding reality. You will hear 14 tracks - most of them being solo cuts, as only a couple feature Equipto, Telli Prego and Ike Plump. 27 April 2011: Cellski - Big Mafi The Don

Everybody's heard of San Francisco legend, one of Bay Area rap pioneers by the name of Cellski. It's been a while since "Culinary Arts Institution" dropped, but fortunately there's another one coming soon. This Lakeview representative is currently working on a solo album entitled "Big Mafi The Don". There's no official release date yet, however we know it's going to feature verses by Jacka, Husalah, Yukmouth, AP.9, Big Rich, Clyde Carson, Joe Blow, Philthy Rich and many more. 26 April 2011: Lee Majors - The Ace Of Cakes Vol. 2: Wonderbread

Oakland rapper Lee Majors has just brought his new street album to the table. It's called "The Ace Of Cakes Vol. 2: Wonderbread" and is now available on RapBay. It includes 25 cuts with original production by Lev Berlak, Pakslap, Machete, Young EF-X, Nephew, Guerren Good, J Keys, Hollywood, DJ Smuv & Dosia. 26 April 2011: YGS & Jae Mac - Fly Lane

YGS (Young Gunna Stunna) is an Oakland rapper, the CEO of Constant Movements Entertainment and now also a new artist of Jacka's label The Artist Records. Somewhere around March this year he dropped a duet mixtape album with Jae Mac called "Fly Lane". It has been available for free, digital download on BandCamp, DatPiff and YGS official website. Now hard copies of the project are also available for purchase on RapBay for only $5.99. "Fly Lane" includes 21 songs with guest appearances by Young Lox, Lee Majors, Rahmean, Trust, Starski & Sariya. You can check out the video for "Low In The Sun" that features YGS & Young Lox.

26 April 2011: Soldier Hard - The Military Collection Vol. 1

If you haven't heard of Soldier Hard - one of the most known Bay Area military rap representatives - you might be interested in his latest project called "The Military Collection Vol. 1". As the title suggests it's an anthology of rapper's previously released songs that include many remastered versions, a few edited ones and two bonus, unheard tracks. Among other titles you'll find such anthems as "Shame On Ya'll", "Support Us" and "Can I Live Again" from which all include videos. Watch the latest one for "Can I Live Again" with Sabo Da 187:

24 April 2011: The 53 Zip Boyz - The 53 Zip Tape: Street Album

The 53 Zip Boyz is a rap trip from Woodland made of A-Train, Jay The Great and J. Mckal. They've just brought their second street project to the table. It's called "The 53 Zip Tape: Street Album" and was released under Rap Fam Ent. The physical copies of the album (in a cardboard sleeve) are sold out of trunk. If you want one be sure to see Rap Fam live show on April 28th at The Boardwalk in Citrus Heights - they'll be selling the cd for $5. 24 April 2011: Messy Marv - Kontraband

Messy Marv ain't stopping his flood as he's aiming at another project scheduled for this Spring. The "Kontraband" is Marv's solo album that will include 14 new tracks exclusively produced by legendary EPA beat maker Sean T. The cd will be released under Click Clack Records on June 21st.

22 April 2011: V-White & The Politician - The Gas Station

If you haven't heard about recent endeavors by Oakland artists V-White (of Delinquents) and The Politician then you gotta stop sleeping. Only a couple of months passed and here we are at it again with fresh news directly from The Politician. There's a fourth installment scheduled to be released on May 7th. 22 April 2011: Be Gee - Still Gotta BG

It's been almost a year since the first time we told you about the upcoming solo project by the Sacramento veteran Be Gee. It was pushed back a few times and here we are again with some fresh news to let you know that this album is officially out. For now it is only sold out of trunk, but it should hit RapBay and rapper's official website begeepresents.net soon. 22 April 2011: The Hit-Men - By Any Means

Bay Area rap fans probably remember the Sunnyvale, Ca group by the name of II Sicc that released two classic albums "Judgement Day" and "Talez From The Sicc". Back then this duo consisted of J-Locc and Lil Moe. Now these people are known under different names: Gemstone and Main 1. Topcat aka T.C. joined them and the whole trio now records as The Hit-Men. Watch out for their joint album "By Any Means" to be released this May. There's already an official tracklist available and we know the project will feature 19 tracks with only two guest verses by Ruel and Mr. Maki. Production will be handled mainly by The Diaz Brothers, but also by Battlecat, V-Dubb, Gemstone, Larry K and Peter Parker. 21 April 2011: Troublez - Only Life We Knew / I'm Loving Nothing

We've got some fresh news on the upcoming music moves from San Jose representative Troublez. He's working on a lot of new projects right now, yet first to come will be the official single called "Only Life We Knew" with Boogie Womack that will drop on April 24th. It's not just your average single song though, as Troublez will press hard copies of it that will hit Street Light Records store as well as iTunes and Napster in digital shape. The track will be featured on Troublez' upcoming solo album entitled "I'm Loving Nothing" that will be out later this year. 14 April 2011: Da We Mobb - self titled

We know it's been a while since Da We Mobb debut album was released and reviewed by BayUndaground.com staff. However we are back at it to let you know that this project is available for free download right now - take it from here. The crew is made of three rappers: Zipp, Big A & Young Truth. Their cd features 22 tracks with production by Smokey and guest appearances by Agerman, Jenoah, Laalups, Safi Da One & Smokey. It was released on Yay Area Entertainment.

09 April 2011: Big Cholo - Nasty North Cal14nia

Another Vacaville rapper - Big Cholo - will be dropping a solo album under Nasty North record label founded by Lil Raider. The upcoming debut cd from Cholo will be called "Nasty North Cal14nia" and will include songs with guest appearances by Lil Raider, Mac Reese, Lil Toro, San Quinn, Chango, Ono Loco, Zipper Louie & more. There's no release date yet, but we'll keep our eyes open on this one.


09 April 2011: Trey C, Playa Rae & Tha Critic - Face Time

BayUndaground brings you some fresh information on the upcoming trio project by Bay Area rappers Trey-C, Playa Rae and Tha Critic. The album will be officially out on June 17th and will include 14 tracks with guest appearances from Stik Gilatine, Royalty, Smigg Dirtee, Boy Rowe, C-Rena & DJ Coolaid. 2Face Entertainment is a 831 area code based record label run by Grindhouse fka Gemini. He will soon present his brand new DVD. "Street Connect" is not your typical rap movie filled with fights, flossing, i-candy etc. You should rather get ready for a real-life story of an independent hustle. It was filmed in various cities including Soledad, Salinas, Marina, Seaside, Castroville, Watsonville, Merced and many more. The screening / release party will take place in Soledad on April 15th in Soledad Bowling Alley on 235 West St. This is a 21 and over event. $5 cover. 08 April 2011: Acktup - Juice

You've probably heard of the Bay Area producer Indecent The Slapmaster who's known for working with AP.9 and also lately with Agerman, whose upcoming album he's presenting. Indecent will be also collaborating with Oakland rapper Acktup as he'll be producing a major part of the beats for his upcoming project. The new Acktup's cd will be called "Juice" and should be out later this year - it's scheduled for Fall, so it's still some time. We'll keep you posted on this one.

06 April 2011: Filthy Fill - City Of Trees

Nasty North / Monster Grip Records fans should already know who Filthy Fill is. Let me just tell you that this Woodland, 530 area code, representative has already appeared on numerous projects by people from these camps - Lil Raider, Ono Loco, Shotgun Rob and more. He also played a major part on "Liquor Store Slaps" compilation. Other than that he's a talented producer responsible for a majority of Nasty North affiliated beats.

He's currently working on a solo debut entitled "City Of Trees" which is scheduled to hit the streets on April 20th. It will feature a whole gang of fellow artists including the ones mentioned above, Lil Coner, Zipper Louie, Loot, Young Loc, but also A-Wax, Hollow Tip, J-Minix and way more. Bay Area artist Mr. Loco aka Loc Da Smoke has been known for putting it down for 2Pac and recording a lot of tributes to his memory. He's also been networking with Big Syke, Mopreme Shakur and other Thug Life related artists. He and Big J are the main guys behind the "Thug Life Mixtape Vol. 1" that is currently available for free download. It is obviously dedicated to the memory of Pac and to Rated R, who's currently incarcerated. We have recently informed you about Frisco artist E-Ferocious who's about to release his third solo album "Born 2 Win". His SharpShootaz Ent. is also responsible for the upcoming solo album by the Vallejo artist Kaos - don't mistake him with the old school Kaos from EPA. The project is titled "Chaos Theory Volume 1" and should be out in a few weeks. The cover mentions it will be produced by Dex Beat.
