31 May 2011: Savzilla - The Beast Within

BayUndaground.com brings you some fresh news on a sophomore solo album by San Jose representative Savzilla. You could hear his debut solo back in 2007 - titled "By Reason Or By Force" - or his appearances on Kung Fu Vampire's cd and duet project by V-Boy & Zak 1. Now it's time for him to bring "The Beast Within" album to the rap game. The official release date is July 26th. This project already made some buzz with a brilliant video for a song called "Siren" that features V-Boy & Lainey Leone on a hook. Watch it below:

Young, up-and-coming Fairfield, 707 area code representative by the name of AseCard is working hard on his upcoming official debut album. He has so far released mixtapes from "Don't Try This @ Home" series. The brand new one is titled "Cre-Ase-Tions: S.O.A.P. Muzik", where S.O.A.P. stands for Swag On Auto Pilot. 27 May 2011: Evaclear presents Made From Scratch

The upcoming compilation project called "Made From Scratch" presented by Evaclear was supposed to drop May 24th, yet it was pushed back a little bit. The updated release date is June 7th so stay tuned to us. Evaclear was born in San Francisco, now resides in Daly City and will be responsible for the whole production on the upcoming project. Vocals will be hosted by recognizable Bay Area names like San Quinn, Big Rich, Equipto, Evenodds, Balance, J. DaVinci and other rappers like R.O.D., Furious, King Cydal, Gas Mask Colony, P-Child, Young Mix and more. The album will be available both in hard copies and digital version on iTunes. East Palo Alto duo Hoodstarz is working on another official group album. Their upcoming project will be entitled "Hoodstarz Radio" and will hit the stores on July 19th under Black'N'Brown Entertainment. Scoot Dogg and Band-Aide will strike with anthems like "So Good" featuring Too Short & Richie Rich or "The Elevator". Everybody's heard of San Francisco legend, one of Bay Area rap pioneers by the name of Cellski. It's been a while since "Culinary Arts Institution" dropped, but fortunately there's another one coming soon. This Lakeview representative is almost done with his new solo album entitled "Big Mafi The Don". In fact it should hit the stores any day now - we'll definitely keep you posted. 26 May 2011: Lil Dee - Follow The Leader

All northern Cali homeboy rap fans must have heard about Antioch artist Lil Dee. He's known for his affiliation with Woodie - he appeared on "Northern Expozure" part 5, 6 and 7. He's also been networking with Big Tone and his Sav-It-Out Records, as he was present on a lot of their projects. Now he's almost done with his debut solo album entitled "Follow The Leader". There are already a couple of videos in our Videos section including such tracks as "Memories", "Get The Money" and "Struggle":

25 May 2011: Lil Rue & DJ Fresh - Tonite Show

You've probably already heard of the upcoming Lil Rue's collaboration project with DJ Fresh, as the album's cover was published a few years ago; if I'm not mistaken. 25 May 2011: Nor Cal Hot Boyz - self titled

We have always been lacing you with continuous news articles about upcoming releases by the North Highlands representative Sixx Figgaz. We're now back with the new one entitled "Taking Over World Wide". The artist has already been networking with Michigan rapper Trigga Man - and this duo is at it together again! The hereby joint effort constists mainly of solo tracks by them. They only perform back to back on a couple of joints. A well-known Pittsburg rapper A-Wax has recently pleased his fans with the third installment of "Nightmare From Elm Street" series. BayUndaground.com staff has just acquired some huge and fresh information on his upcoming releases. There will be at least 4 new projects dropping this year! We'll start off with the official solo album called "Everybody Loves Me". Rapper Dutch - who's working with A-Wax closely - said it already features 16 complete tracks, yet on the other hand he's telling it's dropping at the end of this year. Another upcoming project with A-Wax participation is a duet album with Newark, New Jersey rapper Chynk Show. He's already been featured on A-Wax's "Nightmare From Elm Street" series on tracks like "Money & Power" and "Somethin' Outta Nothin'" that both include videos that can be watched in our Videos section. The duo album from these two artists will be called "Welcome To Bricksburg". Not much info on this one, but you can peep another clean job from PDG to your right. There's more to come from P-Town vet A-Wax. Except for the new solo and a duet album with Chynk you'll also get two compilations. All horrorcore rap fans should keep their eyes open for the upcoming release from one of the most known representatives of this sick genre - Mars from Pittsburg. He's working on a new solo street project that will be called "Zodiac" and most probably will be released this Summer under Mad Insanity Records. 04 May 2011: C-Sicc - Death 2 My Adversaries

C-Sicc, Daly City representative, is back in the rap game after an 11-year hiatus. He debuted way back in 2000 with a solo "Drastic". Now he's back with a sophomore one entitled "Death 2 My Adversaries". In fact we wrote about this release about a year ago. Fortunately it's back on schedule and should hit the stores on August 8th. It will be released by Sean T and his Get Gone Records. It will feature guest appearances from people representing Georgia as well as the Bay Area. Therefore expect to hear such artists as Andre Nickatina, Sean T, 10sion, Say Crisiss, but also Atlanta residents like Pop Bang, D.E.E. Jay 360 and more. 02 May 2011: Zak1 & M Dot Brando - Real. Life. Soprano Vol. 2

You should already be familiar with a Redwood City rapper Zak1 that is responsible for such projects as "Shortstoppn'" (read the review) or a duet cd with V-Boy called "B-Boyz 2 D-Boyz" (read the review). If you managed to read our interview conducted with Zak in 2010 you might know that he's working on a second installment of "Real. Life. Soprano" mixtape. Volume 2 will be an another collabo album - this time Zak1 hooked up with San Francisco native M Dot Brando, who has recently dropped a mixtape entitled "On My Way" (read the review). The upcoming "Real. Life. Soprano Vol. 2" is basically done and just waiting to be wrapped up. It will be both available in digitals (for free) and in hard copies. Stay tuned for more information.
