Oakland rapper J Lately hooked up with Berkeley producer Nima Fadavi to drop an official 4-song deep EP album called "Travel Plans". The project is available for free download on J Lately's BandCamp. 29 July 2011: Neva Happy Ent. - Dem N.H.E. Niggas (free)

The upcoming Bay Area label by the name of Neva Happy Entertainment has just brought its first release to the table. The stable is made of young rappers from all over the northern Cali and by now it signs figures like Lil Will-E, J Will, Young Ant, J-Haze, Young Major, RichCityTee, Dae Laflare and Big D. 29 July 2011: Peezy & Young Robbery - Money Orientation Mixtape

BayUndaground.com is recently networking very closely with DLK Enterprise. In fact we've already reviewed 7 of their projects (read the articles), including 3 from this year! They ain't stopping dropping quality products as they're already aiming at the new solo album from Homewrecka that will drop on October 18th. Before it happens though they will be releasing a mixtape cd handled by rappers Peezy and Young Robbery. Their duet album will be called "Money Orientation" and will drop on August 16th. Guest appearances will include verses by Telly Mac, Young Boo, Homewrecka, Boo Banger, Dirty J, Chewy Loc and Paypa. Stay tuned for more details coming soon. 29 July 2011: Enemigos - Agony & Ecstasy

Good news for those who had troubles getting the Enemigos project from 2009. Enemigos are two San Jose representatives: Gangsta Reese and Convic and their collabo is titled "Agony & Ecstasy". It has just been repressed and finally is legally available in local Bay Area stores as well as on iTunes, RapBay and similar on-line spots. 29 July 2011: Nobe - Going Up Volume 2 (free)

Richmond representative Nobe will be back with a sequel project to the 2010 "Going Up" cd. The volume 2 will be available on August 13th and will be available for free download, yet hard copies will also be pressed. You'll hear 18 cuts with production from Nobe himself and other beat makers, plus guest appearances by Hopsin, Shark and Inf Gang members. 29 July 2011: Shoboat - Rush Hour

Cleveland representative by the name of Shoboat should already be familiar to Bay Area rap fans, as he was featured on numerous projects by northern California artists. Now he's back with his new solo endeavor called "Rush Hour" that will be presented by Berner and released under Bern One Entertainment. The album will drop online and in stores on August 23rd. Except for the host you'll hear guest appearances by Berner, Ampichino, Messy Marv, The Jacka, Joe Blow, Beeda Weeda, Lee Majors, Young Bossi, Freeze, Ren Fetti, Young Doe, Suge B, Gap, K.O.Z., D-Rek and The Ballhogz. 27 July 2011: Errelevent, 10sion & Equivalent Exchange - Spitz Unlimited 2: Retribution

It's been a minute since we last heard from San Francisco rapper Errelevent. Truth is his last project was "Spitz Unlimited: Destroy & Rebuild" from 2009 that BayUndaground.com had pleasure to review. Right now he's back with the sequel project titled "Spitz Unlimited 2: Retribution" - it is hosted not only by Errelevent but also by 10sion. Likewise the first part the whole production was delivered by Equivalent Exchange. 27 July 2011: A-Wax & Chynk Show - Welcome To Bricksburg

BayUndaground.com is back with some new info on the upcoming duet album from P-Town rapper A-Wax and Newark, New Jersey representative Chynk Show. 27 July 2011: Grand Sunz - Forever Shining

This month BayUndaground.com told you about the new release called "Running Waters" by Fairfield rapper Fluent of the Grand Sunz. Well, he's back again, this time with a brand new material recorded along with Gigio - the other half of the duo. "Forever Shining" dropped yesterday and is now available in digitals on Grand Sunz' BandCamp website. The album includes 19 songs with original production mainly handled by All Key & Joey Shellz, but also by Bean One, Brain Tronic, Dren Doh and Josef Blo. We're back with some fresh information on the upcoming project by Fresno representative Courtesy 1. 25 July 2011: Yantz - Playin 4 Keepz

Yantz is a Salinas homeboy representative that has been featured on BayUndaground.com numerous times. He's been a part of Salineros group that dropped two albums and worked with Lonely Boy on their duet cd called "Hood Hoggs". You can check out the reviews of Yantz' previous projects (read the articles). We have also announced that he'll be a part of "Talez From Tha N" cd next to Big Oso Loc, Lil Teck and Ceelow.

That's not all, as this 831 rapper is also aiming for the solo endeavor that will be titled "Playin 4 Keepz". The official release date for this project is October 14th. It's going to feature 17 tracks with a lot of homeboy rappers including such 831 area code representatives as Conspiracy, Young Savi, Big Rome, Lonely Boy, Lil Teck and more. 25 July 2011: Soldier Hard - Road To Recovery

Not that long ago we wrote about the latest project from rapper Soldier Hard - his collabo album with HK. Soldier Hard is also working on another solo endeavor called "Road To Recovery" that will be available on a 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. 23 July 2011: The Dragons & Gorillapits - Monstasquad

Bay Area rap fans should already be aware of San Leandro groups Gorillapits and The Dragons. They've been in the game quite long now and managed to drop a couple of albums. We've had that pleasure to review 4 of Gorillapits cds and one Dragons project (read the articles). K-Loc, Tone Bone, Kra-Z-K, Remy Red and XSF are now working on the group album called "The Monstasquad" that will hit the stores around October / September. We don't have any more details now, but stay tuned as we're working on the interview with both of the crews, so we'll definitely bring you something fresh soon.


23 July 2011: C-Locs presents Tha Carlitos Wayz

A well known San Jose representative by the name of C-Locs will be out with a new compilation album in a couple of days. It will be an iTunes only project called "Tha Carlitos Ways" and will feature verses by C-Locs, Mike D, Lil Wyno, Dreamer, Never, Doc Holiday, Keek Dogg, Lil Bandit, Mr. Nacho, Cisko, Sharky, Mandito Brown, J Mex, Docta Evil, Treetop, Kool-Ayd, Zito, Bishop Rockswell and more. He has also been in DJ Amen's Bay Area Freshmen 10. Finally, the rapper is coming out with his own material. First to drop will be the EP cd called "Metaphorically Speaking" that will be available on August 1st. 19 July 2011: Cinatra Da Mobsta - Hood Tested Gangsta Approved

Cin'atra, now known as Cinatra Da Mobsta, is a Seattle, Wa representative who has already released a couple of albums. In fact you could already read our reviews of his great sophomore solo "Rhymez Emphasizing Actual Life" and a collabo project Turf Grindaz recorded together with Brent Ogee, titled "Poundin' Tha Pavement".

The hereby solo by Cinatra - "Hood Tested Gangsta Approved" - came out like out of nowhere. Kansas City rapper Fatboy Chubb should already be familiar to Bay Area rap fans and BayUndaground.com readers. We've already promoted his last solo called "Fuck The World, I'm Larger Than Life" that dropped in 2010 and featured a whole Bay Area rappers line-up. Now he's working on another one titled "The Black Tony" that will hit the streets on September 20th under Mob Connected Records. 11 July 2011: Csupreme aka C-Sicc - Death To My Adversaries

C-Sicc, Daly City representative, is back in the rap game after an 11-year hiatus. He debuted way back in 2000 with a solo "Drastic". Now he's back with a sophomore one entitled "Death 2 My Adversaries". In fact we wrote about this release about a year ago and then again in May this year. Fortunately it's back on schedule and should hit the stores on August 8th. It will be released by Sean T and his Get Gone Records. It will feature guest appearances from people representing Georgia as well as the Bay Area. Therefore expect to hear such artists as Andre Nickatina, Sean T, 10sion, Say Crisiss, but also Atlanta residents like Pop Bang, D.E.E. Jay 360 and more. We now also know that the rapper will drop this album under a new name - Csupreme aka C-Sicc. 08 July 2011: Zak1 & M Dot Brando - Real. Life. Soprano Vol. 2

You should already be familiar with a Redwood City rapper Zak1 that is responsible for such projects as "Shortstoppn'" (read the review) or a duet cd with V-Boy called "B-Boyz 2 D-Boyz" (read the review). If you managed to read our interview conducted with Zak in 2010 you might know that he's working on a second installment of "Real. Life. Soprano" mixtape. Volume 2 will be an another collabo album - this time Zak1 hooked up with San Francisco native M Dot Brando, who has recently dropped a mixtape entitled "On My Way" (read the review).
