29 November 2011: Dregs One - The Wake Up Call

After a large number of promotional / mixtape / street releases San Francisco rapper Dregs One is finally out with an official solo debut. We've already heard him on four installments of "Sucka Free State Of Mind" compilations, a duet release with Equipto and a teaser mixtape that dropped earlier this year and is still available for free download. "The Wake Up Call" is out today and you can cop it now on iTunes. It should be also available on the streets and other online spots, including Dregs' blog page. 29 November 2011: P.S.D. Tha Drivah - Bullets And Bouquets

P.S.D. Tha Drivah - a well known Crestside, Vallejo rapper - is finally free. Even though he's been locked for a few years he participated in "Da Bidness" sequel album with Messy Marv and Keak Da Sneak which dropped in January 2011. The new solo album from PSD called "Bullets And Bouquets" has leaked to the Internet, but has never been officially released due to rapper's incarceration. Well, be on the lookout for this cd coming out in stores and online early 2012 under SMC Recordings. Stay tuned for more details.


29 November 2011: Dubee - Crest Side Radio (free)

A couple of days ago we told you about a free for download release from Dubee aka Sugawolf Pimp called "Crest Side Radio". It appears that it will be also officially pressed and released on February 21st under Thizz Nation label. The album features 13 cuts with absolutely no features. We'll definitely keep you posted on this one.


29 November 2011: Young Curt - Selfmade Mixtape Volume 1

Young Curt is a Pittsburg rapper that debuted in 2010 with a mixtape project called "This Shit Don't Stop Vol. 1". Now he's aiming to bring you another one which is scheduled to drop on December 24th under Interference Entertainment. The album will be titled "Selfmade Mixtape Volume 1" and will include guest appearances by Roach Gigz, Lil Chris, Sly Stoner, Pac B, Boov5000, Turfeazy Breh, Dre Mack, C-Loz, Rockin Rolla, Joe Kool and more. 28 November 2011: Cellski - Big Mafi The Don

Truth is I'm tired of waiting for Cellski's new solo project as its release date was already delayed a few times. It didn't come out this month as it was supposed to, and now City Hall Records announce that "Big Mafi The Don" is dropping on January 17th. Well, we'll see. We do know that it will include 14 brand new cuts with guest appearances by The Jacka, Husalah, Yukmouth, AP.9, Big Rich, Clyde Carson, Joe Blow, Philthy Rich and more, while the production will be mainly handled by Cellski himself, but also by Erk Tha Jerk, Pakslap, Traxamillion, Will and DJ Toomp. Bay Area fans should already hear about San Francisco native named M Dot Brando. He was previously known as a member of Triple X Playaz, but recently pursues solo career. BayUndaground.com had an opportunity to review his latest album "On My Way" that dropped in 2011 (read the review). 20 November 2011: iStandard Producer Showcase - SF Style

Back in March 2011 BayUndaground.com promoted the Bay Area Edition of iStandard Producer Showcase events. Well, we're still supportive for this function as they're back again in the Bay, this time hitting San Francisco. First event will take place at Rock-It Room 406 Clement Street and will include producers performances by Young Fizz and Lambo, plus live performances by Soosh-E, Richard The Rockstar, Oso Slick & Fortilive. The other show will be at Club 6 60 Sixth Street, December 1st, with performances by Dex Beats, Ryan Pham, J-Swift, Soul Mystic, Airis and more. Over these 2 evenings producers will showcase their tracks in front of an esteemed industry panel and the most vibrant setting! Winner will receive a prize package consisting of a Native Instruments Maschine Mikro as well as software from Izotope, IK Multimedia, Indamixx and Ableton.

19 November 2011: Laroo & Turf Talk - Sick-Wid-It Block Op

In 2011 Bay Area rap scene was laced with "Turf Sinatra" mixtape from Turf Talk and an 8-track deep "The Night Continues" by Laroo. Well, if you're still hungry for more music from these two figures you'll be able to hear them both on their joint project which is coming out early 2012. "Block Op" will drop under Sick-Wid-It label and will feature anthem "Money 2 Blow" with E-40 that has already leaked to the Net. 19 November 2011: The Hit-Men - By Any Means

Bay Area rap fans probably remember the Sunnyvale, Ca group by the name of II Sicc that released two classic albums "Judgement Day" and "Talez From The Sicc". Back then this duo consisted of J-Locc and Lil Moe. Now these people are known under different names: Gemstone and Main 1. Topcat aka T.C. joined them to create a trio called The Hit-Men. They've finally brought you their long awaited album titled "By Any Means". It is now available in hard copies and digital version. You can get it from eBay, Napster or eMusic. This year you had a chance to grab a free digital download called "Vallejo Means Vallejo" from V-Town rapper M-Dash. It appears that he decided to drop an official version of this project with a different cover, changed tracklist, yet the title remains. San Francisco rapper Skaz One should be known to BayUndaground.com readers as we've already managed to review his debut solo album called "That's Life" and we wrote about his duet project with Mantis titled "Rock Out With Our Cocks Out Volume 1". Right now the artist is working on his brand new official solo release "Generation RX" that is scheduled to drop on March 6th 2012. We can already tell you that it will be entirely produced by The Blacksmiths and will feature guest appearances by Equipto, Celph Titled, Mistah F.A.B., Mantis, Shoboat, Prince Po, Sunspot Jonz, Matlock, Telli Prego, Capo Corleone and Rome. Modesto representative by the name of Unknown was featured on BayUndaground.com numerous times, not only as a Darkroom Familia member, but also as an indie rapper.
