26 September 2013: Bleezo - Da' Protocal

We're back with the tracklist to the highly awaited solo album from Sacramento rapper Bleezo called "Da' Protocal". You might have heard this artist before, because he's already released an official album with Sav Sicc titled "Twin Evil" - search for this in the news section, because we've once published a very positive first impressions article on it. 26 September 2013: Paybak Muzik - Nuthing In Return

We have already written about two free-for-download projects by the Salinas, 831 area code group named Paybak Muzik. They are now working on an official compilation titled "40831", but before it comes out they decided to release the last free mixtape with old school feel to it titled "Nuthing In Return". It is available now for free download and listen at DatPiff. Oak Park, Sacramento representative C-Dubb will be dropping his new solo EP project in two weeks. "Grippin Tha Game" will be available in stores and online on September 17th. No details for now, however some of you might recognize the cover to your right, because we've already posted it with a different title to it - "Sac It Up N Serve It". We've just found out that C-Dubb changed the name of the project, because another Sacra rapper - T-Nutty - coincidentally uses the same title for his upcoming album. Well, we're looking forward for both of these.

07 September 2013: Mr. Robbie - The Midlife Crisis: Mixtape

Northern California rap fans may be familiar with an underground northern Cali representative Rob Rize because we've already had a chance to conduct an interview with him back in 2010 and review two of his projects: "Guilty By Association" and "The Dark Hour". We've also written about a couple of his other releases, including the-still-upcoming album "Phoenix Rizing". Rob Rize told us it is on hold because it's going to be released on vinyl. Rob has also recorded a solo called "The War Of The Rizes" which is waiting to be dropped next Summer. There's also a "The Rize Of The Machinez" produced exclusively by Akazie and DMG Blast that is also waiting to be released. First to come however is a mixtape called "The Midlife Crisis" that is scheduled for October 1st. It will include beats from Akazie, Mykes Beats, Yaungbloodz Beats and remixes of known anthems. Rapper Lil Ro might still be more known to Southern rap fans, however since he lives in Vallejo, California for almost 10 years now Bay Area music enthusiasts should also check him out. He has already made some buzz on this turf, especially collaborating with Lil Raider - their joint cd is dropping on October 29th. Before that time you'll also get a brand new official solo from Ro called "Only Hustlers Relate". The album will drop on October 15th and will include anthems like "Get Money On Em" with Chalie Boy & Dorrough, "Hellow" with Baby Bash & Stooie Bros, "Bendin Corners" with Lil Flip and "Do It All Again".
