27 February 2015: Myth and Krack present The Feast

Northern California Latin rap fans may be familiar with 209 area code representative Myth, because he has been collaborating with Low Down / Killa Valley Ent. camp back in the days. Myth has dropped solo albums titled "Tha Mythman Propheceez" and "Evolutionz" (read our review). Myth and other rapper by the name of Krack (of Deminted Records) have recently brought a brand new project titled "The Feast" that is available in hard copies (you can get it directly from Myth via Facebook or at Cali Underground in Modesto) and should be hitting digital market real soon. You'll hear verses delivered by Myth, Krack, Crooked I, Royce Da 59, Krizz Kaliko, K Young, Hollow Tip, T Rock, Cadillac Todd, Javarsonis, Majezte, Sean B, Big Moe and Jay Pe. Dame Daniels was born and raised in Salinas, California and now resides in Atlanta, Ga. The rapper has recently hooked up with another ATL artist by the name of P.O.L.O. Oakland rapper Balance will be releasing two new projects next month. You will get a mix CD called "Strait To It" (some sources say it will be titled "Now Or Never") that is scheduled to drop on March 10th. 23 February 2015: Mac Mall - Legal Business

Mac Mall is one of the most known rappers from Vallejo, California. The artist has been representing Crestside since early 90s, when he debuted with his solo project "Illegal Business" in 1993. Six years later he recorded "Illegal Business? 2000". After over two decades since the classic release, Mac Mall is coming back with another sequel titled "Legal Business". The album is scheduled to be released on April 21st under Thizzlamic Records and will include 18 tracks with guest appearances by E-40, Baby Bash, Andre Nickatina and more. Mr. Kee is - at least in my opinion - one of the most important figures of Bay Area Latin rap scene. He brought a whole sack of decent solo projects, worked with many well known artists and has been featured on countless releases. The eldest rap fans might remember Kee's debut material called "Living On The Ultimate High" that was released only on cassette back in 1995. The album has just been re-released and is now available in a digital shape on iTunes. I'm not sure if it has also been remastered and whether there will be a CD release. 13 February 2015: DJ 40oz upcoming releases

DJ 40oz represents Yuba City (530) and has already laced the rap scene with a bunch of projects (solos and duet albums with Baby Ray). The rapper is aiming to deliver a lot of new material this year. He's already done with another duet album - this time recorded along with Silk. Their joint material is called "Still Takin Flight" and features verses from B-Dawg, Moyo Loco, Cali Roscoe, Serio, Pachecs, Troublez, Pache and Samantha B. The album is in the pressing process and it should be out in about two weeks from now.

Another one is a collabo album between DJ 40oz and Antioch representative B-Dawg called "The Struggle Is Real". Expect to hear appearances by Davina, Filthy Fill, Shadow, Tito B and more. There will be also a solo material from DJ 40oz titled "Throwback Music" dropping in May. So stay tuned to BayUndaground.com - we'll keep our eyes open for DJ 40oz cds. After two parts of "Drought Season" (and "Border Wars") it's time for "Harvest Season" from Berner and The Jacka. The album is dropping on April 21st and will be delivered under Liqz' record label. It will feature production from Cheez, Lev and The Grill, plus guest appearances by J-Diggs, Gage Gully and others. The project will be pressed in a limited amount - 2500 copies.

DLK Enterprise is one of the most fertile record labels on the Bay Area rap scene.
