29 August 2015: Killa Tay - Snake Eyes 2: Verbal Vengeance

Brother IG is a San Jose representative and a Christian rapper. He debuted 15 years ago with "Off The Crooked Path" project and dropped "Soul Searching" in 2006 (both reviewed by our staff). After another long hiatus he's aiming to bring his fans a third solo titled "Deliverance". The project is scheduled to be released on October 2nd under Broken Chain Records. 09 August 2015: R.I.P. Dig of U.D.I.

Another sad day for rap and hip-hop. Raper Dig was a member of a well known San Francisco group called U.D.I. (along with Big Quint) - Under Da Influence. He passed away on August 8th; same day was a tragedy for East Coast rap: Sean Price of Heltah Skeltah has also died. Rest in paradise to all fallen rap representatives.


09 August 2015: Andre Nickatina & Savage-C - 3AM: Hour Of The Wolf

03 August 2015: Gemini - Casualties Of Life (digital re-release)

"Casualties Of Life" was one of the very first projects that we've reviewed and was one of the reasons BayUndaground.com eventually was brought to life. This project was released back in 2002 by an 831 area code representative by the name of Gemini (today known as Tha GrindHouse); you can read our interview we did with him a few years ago. Despite an underground exterior of the album it was packed with some well known figures as Yukmouth, Mr. Kee, Young Droop, Smuggla, Yun-Gun, Key Loom and a lot more local artists. Tha Grindhouse is preparing to bring the project back to life and put it on digital market sometime around mid September. He's also working on a new material - an EP titled "Fish And Spaghetti" that is scheduled to be released around the same time.
