Fifteen years ago Highside Records (responsible for early projects from Hollow Tip, Mic-C and Young Ridah) released a solo album from Sacramento rapper Double-O-Smeb called "I Build Machines"; two years before that D.O. debuted with his fellow comrades as CCH (Capitol City Hustlaz) with a cd called "We Bubblin'". He also released a mixtape called "Keep It Lit" in 2007. Except for that the rapper appeared a few times on other cds from Sac Town cats; and that's all. The beginning of 2016 finally brings something new from this artist; well, not entirely new, because "The Big Homie" includes unreleased material that was done almost a decade ago. The album was brought by E-Moe's Pay$tyle Music and includes 18 tracks with guest appearances by E-Moe, C-Dubb, D-Dubb, Capitol City Hustlaz, Playboii Y.B., M.D. and Mae Gee. Pay$style Music - the company name should ring a bell, especially to Sacramento rap fans. This stable was established back in 2000 by a Sac Town representative E-Moe, who has not only released a whole bunch of solo projects, but also collaborated with well known figures out of Northern California, including one of the pioneers of Sacra scene - Brotha Lynch Hung.
