M Dot Brando is definitely an experienced, yet still unknown Bay Area representative. If you haven't heard of this San Francisco rapper you should check out his previous releases that are all available on BandCamp. Later he dropped 4 more solos ("The Million Dollar Mouthpiece" in 2000, "Ghost Writer" in 2001, "Yao Peso Denero" in 2005, "City Boy #1" in 2011) and a duet release with Telly Mac ("Hype Mode" in 2007). His new solo project dropped like out of nowhere and is called "Expensive Murder". Supposedly it was recorded almost 5 years ago, but never came out, until now. It is so far available only in hard copies (sleeve) sold in the local stores. CaviRX, formerly known as Yung Cavi, originally comes from Salinas, California, but for a long time resides in Yuma, Arizona. Underground California rap fans might remember him from 831 area code releases like "16 Shots Bloc 2 Bloc" from Yun-Gun, "Ferocious" from Fury or also more recent like "40831 Compilation". Cavi was also a member of Strong Arm group that was made of him, Wyldstyle, Basec One, G-Loc Slim and Crime. He's probably more recognizable in the AZ, as he established his own company called StreetVibe Music that has signed a lot of artists and released loads of albums.
