03 September 2010: V-White & The Politician - Streets Can Vouch

The Delinquents member V-White hooked up once again with another Oakland rapper The Politician (aka Big Zeke) to record a joint project. They already have one duo album under their belt and now have just brought you the second collabo cd called "Streets Can Vouch". So far it's only available at RapBay.com and local retail stores, but it should be hitting other online spots very soon. 03 September 2010: Shill Macc & T-Mazz - Streets Was My 2nd Home (free)

Two Bay Area rappers - Shill Macc & T-Mazz - hooked up to bring you a joint mixtape entitled "Streets Was My 2nd Home". It's available now in digitals at DatPiff. You'll hear 13 cuts with just a few guest appearances by emcees like Dubb 20, Young Gasz & The Getta. The album includes a few exclusive tracks with production by Traxamillion, MG Sundays, Rawkeyz, Duece Trae and Kali Mist. 03 September 2010: The Bad Guy & Cassh (free)

The Bad Guy & Cassh are members of the Bay Area based group called The D.O.E. Gettaz, which also includes DJ Ghost, Dova, E & D Banga. 03 September 2010: Big Rich - The Collection Vol. 1 & Built To Last (free)

If you're a fan of SFC's native Big Rich you'll be pleased to hear that he's just put out a collection of some of his hits, which is available only in digitals but totally for free download. The album includes 15 songs taken from previous Big Rich's cds as well as other from projects by other artists like The Jacka, Rappin' 4-Tay or Messy Marv.

What's more, Big Rich is also working on a full-length solo album, which is scheduled to drop on November 16th. "Built To Last" has already revealed its first single called "Its Bigga" with the Evenodds duet. Album will also feature verses by Too Short, E-40, Paul Wall, Messy Marv, Dem Hoodstarz, San Quinn, R.O.D. & more. It appears that the new album by Oakland duo by J Stalin & Lil Kev is available now in digitals. The album is called "Women And Money" and you can cop it now on iTunes. It is basically a duet cd with just a few guest appearances from Livewire members (Lil Rue, Stevie Joe, Mayback, Shady Nate) and Bailey, Dre Blunt & Gary Hawkins. 02 September 2010: Mr. G - Back In The Hood

Central Cali, 559 area code representative named Mr. G has just officially released his debut solo album entitled "Back In The Hood". You can download the whole thing for $4.99 or buy a pressed copy for $9.99 at his ReverbNation store. It is also available on iTunes for $9.99. All homeboy rap fans should pay attention, as Mr. G's album features lots of gangbanging lyrics on 18 tracks and also appearances by the known northern and central California figures such as Baby Boy Ene, Mr. Mentiroso, Kriminal, Cisko of P.B.C., Juney, Bandit and more. 02 September 2010: Young Gully - The Grant Station Project

The whole northern California society is probably familiar with the murder of Oscar Grant. "The Grant Station Project" is an audio documentation of lyrics, music and interviews - all inspired by the tragic death of Oscar. The album will be hosted by the Oakland rapper Young Gully who's working on it with the producer by the name of Jamon Dru. 02 September 2010: Los Da Rockstar - Money & Power

Los Da Rockstar is a rapper hailing from Mission District in San Francisco. He's recently working on his new solo mixtape project called "Money & Power". The album is almost done and you can listen or download a part of it at HotNewHipHop.com for free. You'll hear music with guest appearances by Redeyez, C-Note, Demosthenes 3, Luni Da Villan, Yung Hard Hitta, Yung Cass, Pac B, D-Money & more. You can also watch the video for one of the tracks named "Don't Cry".

02 September 2010: Mans World Mixtape Vol. 1

San Francisco based label Solidarity Records has just brought you their another release. It's a compilation mixtape called "Mans World" which includes 17 tracks with verses by SFC rappers like Equipto, his group Bored Stiff and other cats. 01 September 2010: I-5 Connect - The First 48

We have already written numerous times about the I-5 Connect group. The crew consists of Killa Klump (South San Francisco), Matt Blaque (East Oakland), Enormus Tha Ox (San Jose), Dough (Seattle) and Outrageous (Seattle). They have recently released a free EP project (read the review) that was meant to promote the release of the hereby longplay "The First 48".

This project is out now, however not everywhere. You can get them for instance in Oregon and Washington states. California, Nevada and others should have it really soon. The official digital iTunes release is September 21st. It features guest appearances by Freeway, Crooked I, Kurupt and more, plus production by Droop-E, Sean T, Swerve, Tryfe and more. 01 September 2010: Singe & Soldier Hard - Block Monstaz

We're back with some fresh news on the latest releases from the Bay Area military rap representative Soldier Hard representing Vallejo, Ca. His upcoming solo "Soldier Of The Bay" is already done, yet the release date was pushed back and it will drop later this year. Fortunately, you're now able to cop a digital version of another release by Soldier Hard - a collabo album with another rapper/troop by the name Singe hailing from Concord, Ca.

Their joint venture is called "Block Monstaz" and is now available for download for 11 bucks at Band Camp website. The cd features 15 cuts with guest appearances by Mr. Kee, Spice 1, Dego, Santino & K. The production was brought by Sinima Beats, Vybe Beats, Shadowville Productions & P.Smee. Single-Parent Home is a Salinas, 831 area code group that consists of Annoy, Sup1 and Dee-Boi. In fact Annoy debuted this April with "A Boy With Noyz" and Dee-Boi is almost finished with his "Pay Me Or Pay Me No Attention" due this year as well. SPH group has just released the album titled "Life: It Ain't All Peaches & C.R.E.A.M." under X'd Out Muzick. It only includes throwback, unreleased material from the years 1998-2005. 01 September 2010: Shame - Empathy (free)

Shame is a Fremont, 510 area code representative who's been in the game for a few years now. He has already dropped a couple of underground, mostly Internet releases, including "California" from 2007 and the latest "Random Acts" from 2008. Now Shame is working on another solo joint called "Empathy" which is about to drop in October. It will be free for download so be sure to check it out when it drops. 01 September 2010: Bullys Wit Fullys presents SFO Mixtape Vol. 2

The Git Paid Music Group will be back in the upcoming months with a few new releases. One of them will be a sequel street album to the project released in December 2009. "SFO Mixtape Vol. 2" will be hosted by Guce and will drop on October 19th. Another album handled by the Frisco legend will be his highly anticipated solo project called "Guce Leeroy", which was supposed to drop in the beginning of this year. It will finally see the daylight on October 19th. Be on the lookout for a new duet album by two Oakland representatives - J Stalin and Lil Kev - dropping in the upcoming months. Their collabo project will be called "Women & Money" and couple of tracks have already leaked to the Internet. You'll hear such cuts as "Fast Forward", "Something New" and the latest "Last Call" with Shady Nate & Bailey. The cd will drop under Livewire Records and you can already pre-order it from RapBay. 31 August 2010: Ad Kapone - Kingpin: The 6 Year Theory

Today's the official release for the brand new solo album by the East Palo Alto artist and a member of legendary Bay Area group Totally Insane - rapper Ad Kapone. The project is titled "Kingpin: The 6 Year Theory" and is for example available in digital format on Amazon. You'll hear 20 tracks with appearances by Goldie Gold, AP.9, Band-Aide, Chunk & more, plus a great line-up of northern Cali all-stars on the "Kingpin" remix with Mr. Kee, Baldhead Rick, Taydatay, Black C, SB just to name a few.

31 August 2010: Young Dru new releases

In the beginning of this month we told you about a few new releases from V-Town rapper Young Dru, however they were only available at RapBay. You can now buy them all at other retail stores and online spots. The latest cd by Young Dru is his solo project called "The Envy Of My Succcess" which features Indecent The Slapmaster, Rux, J-Minnix, Pody Mouf, Krypto, Nasty Nate, Cozmo and more; except for RapBay you can now also cop it on iTunes or eMusic.

The other one is a half solo half compilation album entitled "Game Will Neva Stop", which is also available on iTunes, eMusic or RapBay. It has verses by Dru, Baby Bash, Krypto, Big Perm, Pody Mouf, Acktup and others.
